Our Services
Originating Agro-Industrial Projects in Frontier Markets
Our core business is the origination, structuring, and financing of large-scale agro-industrial ventures in emerging and frontier markets.
We identify untapped agricultural value chains that can be climate-proofed and design them into bankable platforms suitable for international financing, before implementing them in partnership with top-tier technology suppliers.
Our target project size is in the $75–$200 million range, where professional management unlocks both strong commercial returns and meaningful development impact.
We provide a full suite of services, including feasibility studies, ESIA and ESG frameworks, and capital raising together with trusted financial partners. We also advise on project structuring, provide supervision, recruit experienced expatriate management, manage international tenders, provide board-level advisory services, and design impactful CSR programs.

Our Way of Working
Each project follows a disciplined institutional process:
-
Opportunity origination and concept design
-
Local partnership and equity alignment
-
Full technical, agronomic, and financial feasibility
-
IFC-compliant Environmental & Social Impact Assessments (ESIA)
-
ESG, governance, and risk structuring
-
Capital raising with DFIs, ECAs, and international investors
We design projects that meet the requirements of Development Finance Institutions and Export Credit Agencies, typically achieving 65–70% senior debt financing, with the balance provided by equity and quasi-equity investors.
About the Founder
Adrian Per Rösiö is a Swedish entrepreneur whose family lineage traces back to Per Rösiö, a fiery agricultural reformer who set up Scandinavia's first model farm and agricultural college and founded Sweden's National Federation of Farmers.
While rooted in this tradition of agricultural reform and rural development, Adrian has spent the majority of his career working in emerging and frontier markets. Since 2007, he has focused primarily on West Africa and South Asia, where agricultural value chains are often constrained by fragmented land ownership, donor-driven interventions, as well as weak market integration.
Drawing on Scandinavia’s own agricultural history, Adrian founded R&R with the conviction that frontier markets can undergo the same kind of transformation that once reshaped Sweden. In the late 19th century, Sweden was among the poorest countries in Europe, and rural poverty drove some 1.8 million people to emigrate in search of opportunity and survival. This is the kind of migration we see in the developing world today, and climate change will make things even more challenging. Just as agricultural reform rescued Scandinavia's rural economy from collapse and helped Sweden emerge as one of the most prosperous societies in the world, Adrian believes that similar progress in frontier markets depends on bringing fragmented farming communities together into professionally managed agricultural platforms operating at meaningful scale.
