What We Do
Our Services
Originating Agro-Industrial Projects in Frontier Markets
Our core business is the origination, structuring, and financing of large-scale agro-industrial ventures in emerging and frontier markets.
Project Origination
Identification of untapped agricultural value chains designed into bankable platforms for international financing.
ESG & Risk Structuring
IFC-compliant ESIA, ESG governance frameworks, and comprehensive risk structuring for institutional investors.
Capital Raising
Capital raising with DFIs, ECAs, and international investors, typically achieving 65–70% senior debt financing.

We design bankable agricultural projects in emerging and frontier markets, focusing on untapped value chains that can be climate-proofed and scaled. We target high-value agricultural ventures of at least 2,500 hectares or $75 million in CapEx, with the potential to generate substantial commercial upside alongside meaningful development impact.
Methodology
Our Way of Working
We design projects that meet the requirements of Development Finance Institutions and Export Credit Agencies, typically achieving 65–70% senior debt financing, with the balance provided by equity and quasi-equity investors.
Each project follows a disciplined institutional process:
Opportunity origination and concept design
Local partnership and equity alignment
Full technical, agronomic, and financial feasibility
IFC-compliant Environmental & Social Impact Assessments (ESIA)
ESG, governance, and risk structuring
Capital raising with DFIs, ECAs, and international investors
Leadership
R&R was founded by Adrian Per Rösiö, a Swedish entrepreneur descended from Per Rösiö, the agricultural reformer who established Scandinavia's first model farm and agricultural college and founded Sweden's National Federation of Farmers, helping usher Scandinavian agriculture into a new era.

While rooted in this tradition of agricultural reform and rural development, Adrian has spent the majority of his career working in emerging and frontier markets. Since 2007, he has focused primarily on West Africa and South Asia, where agricultural value chains are often constrained by fragmented land ownership, donor-driven interventions, as well as weak market integration.

Drawing on Scandinavia's own agricultural history, Adrian founded R&R with the conviction that frontier markets can undergo the same kind of transformation that once reshaped Sweden. In the late 19th century, Sweden was among the poorest countries in Europe, and rural poverty drove some 1.8 million people to emigrate in search of opportunity and survival. This is the kind of migration we see in the developing world today, and climate change will make things even more challenging. Just as agricultural reform rescued Scandinavia's rural economy from collapse and helped Sweden emerge as one of the most prosperous societies in the world, Adrian believes that similar progress in frontier markets depends on bringing fragmented farming communities together into professionally managed agricultural platforms operating at meaningful scale.

Hydrological Services
R&R also specializes in the rehabilitation, dredging, and maintenance of irrigation-related water bodies and conveyance systems, including settling basins, rivers, and canals.

Through our sister company, ScandiDredge, we provide integrated solutions for the rehabilitation of rivers, canals, reservoirs, and other critical water bodies. Our services include project design, equipment procurement, commissioning, and technical supervision of dredging, desiltation, invasive aquatic vegetation removal, and flood prevention works.
Across West Africa and South Asia, we apply environmentally sound technologies to restore hydraulic performance, improve irrigation reliability, and enhance resilience to climate-related flooding.
